Our Story

Born on the Links. Built for the Elements.

If you’ve ever played golf in Ireland, you know that weather reports are just polite suggestions. You can experience all four seasons in a single round.

Moher Golf was born out of that exact frustration.

Our founder, Ross, was playing the legendary links at Lahinch, putting together an extraordinary front nine under a blue sky. Then, the Atlantic weather crashed the party. A perfect day instantly turned into biting wind and sideways rain. As the clubs got slicker, the scorecard got uglier. On the 16th hole, the club slipped clean out of his hands mid-swing.

Standing in the downpour, Ross realized it wasn't his swing that failed him—it was his gear.

From Frustration to Engineering

Driving home, Ross searched for a glove that could handle the transition from blistering sunshine to sudden downpours without losing its grip. It didn't exist. Traditional leather gloves turned into soggy sponges, and bulky rain gloves lacked any feel.

So, he went into inventor mode. The goal was simple: engineer a high-performance golf glove resilient enough for the worst conditions, yet premium enough for the best.

After endless testing against the elements, Element 18 was born.

Why "Moher"?

We took our name from the rugged Cliffs of Moher—majestic giants that have stood on the edge of the Atlantic for millennia, taking the absolute worst beating nature can throw at them without budging an inch.

Today, Ross’s handicap is lower than it’s ever been, and he’s on a mission to change the game. We believe your glove isn’t a cheap accessory; it’s the single most important point of contact between you and your club. It’s time to take it seriously.

Four Seasons. Eighteen Holes. One Glove.
